Pretty Little Liars Spoilers: A is for A-L-I-V-E

Spoilers from the highly anticipated premier of Season 4 of Pretty Little Liars have been popping up on the internet on a daily basis. According to recent spoilers, Season 4 Episode 1 of Pretty Little Liars will be titled, “A is for A-L-I-V-E.” The title alone is creating quite a buzz among the Pretty Little Liarsfans. Who is alive? Could this title mean that Alison DiLaurentis is really alive? There were unanswered questions after the Season 3 finale about whether the girl in the red coat that saved the liars from the fire was really Alison DiLaurentis, or an imposter wearing a mask to make it appear that she was still alive. “A is for A-L-I-V-E” could mean that the girl in the red coat really was Alison DiLaurentis, and she is indeed alive and well.

Several photos have emerged of the cast sporting all-black funeral gear and standing in front of the Rosewood Church, while filming “A is for A-L-I-V-E.” In one of the photos that were featured on Wetpaint, the four liars are standing in front of the church, having a conversation with Rosewoods’ newest cop, Sean Faris. In another photo, the liars (plus their newest addition Mona) are all standing in a circle outside of the funeral looking at a cell phone, with shocked expressions on their faces. Now, if you are a die-hard Pretty Little Liars fans, then these two images I just described probably sound vaguely familiar to you. They look almost identical to scenes that occurred in the pilot episode of Pretty Little Liars that aired back in 2010. If you remember correctly the liars wore all black in the first episode and attended Alison DiLaurentis’s funeral, after the funeral they were questioned by Detective Wilden, and then received a text from “A.” Does this mean that Season 4 Episode 1 will mirror Season 1 Episode 1?
